Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Dallas, Texas rent grew $20 last month and continued to reign as the most expensive in the metro area.
–Richardson, TX was only $40 behind at $1,260 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Irving, TX barely inched out Frisco to rank as the third most expensive city with rent at $1,150.
The Least Expensive
–Mesquite, TX rent, although growing $20 since last month, continued to be the most affordable.
–Arlington, TX ranked as second least expensive with rent at $700.
–Grand Prairie, TX was third with one bedroom rent growing 2.8% to $730.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Fort Worth, TX had the fastest rent since this time last year, up 15.9%.
–Irving, TX rent had the second largest yearly growth rate, climbing 15%.
–Denton, TX was third with rent up 11.1%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Garland, TX rent grew 5.3% since last month, making it the fastest growing.
–Lewisville, TX saw rent climb 4.8% since last month.
–Plano, TX rent ranked as third with a 4.6% monthly growth rate.
