The Zumper Columbus Metro Report analyzed active listings in November across 7 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Ohio state median one bedroom rent was $770 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

Le plus cher

Grandview Heights, OH saw rent climb $60 to $1,360 and continue to reign as the most expensive city.

Dublin, OH remained the second priciest with rent at $1,130.

Hillard, OH rent dropped $60 to $960 but stayed the third most expensive in the metro.

Heath, OH was the least expensive city with rent at $580.

– Delaware, OH saw rent drop $20 to $680 but remain the second most affordable city.

Whitehall, OH was third with rent at $720.

Growth Rate

Hillard, OH had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, climbing 15.7%.

Columbus, Ohio followed closely behind with the second fastest growing rent, up 15.4%.

Heath, OH had the third largest year over year rental growth rate, jumping 11.5%.

Grandview Heights & Dublin, OH tied for the city with the fastest growing prices last month, both up 4.6%.
