The Zumper Charlotte Metro Report analyzed active listings in October across 7 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The North Carolina median one bedroom rent was $909 last month.

Charlotte, Caroline du Nord was the most expensive city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $1,160.

Huntersville, NC ranked as the second priciest with rent at $1,070.

Davidson, NC rent was $970, making it third.

Gastonia, NC rent was the most affordable in the metro, at $710.

Concord, NC was the second least expensive city with rent at $890.

Cornelius, NC ranked as third with rent at $940.
