The Zumper Charlotte Metro Report analyzed active listings in February 2019 across 7 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The North Carolina median one bedroom rent was $902 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

Le plus cher

Charlotte, Caroline du Nord had the most expensive rent in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $1,170.

Huntersville, NC remained the second priciest with rent at $1,050.

CorneliusDavidson, & Mooresville, NC tied for third with rents all at an even $1,000.

Gastonia, NC stayed the most affordable with rent at $690.

Concord, NC was second with one bedrooms priced at $890.

Growth Rate

Huntersville, NC had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 14.1%.

DavidsonMooresville, NC tied for second, both with prices jumping 13.6%.

Gastonia, NC ranked as third with rent growing 11.3% since this time last year.

Mooresville, NC saw one bedroom rent jump 4.2% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
