Cities Ranked By Rent
Le plus cher
–Cambridge, MA remained the most expensive city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $2,480.
–Brookline, MA rent dropped $10 to $2,330 but continued to rank as the second priciest.
–Boston, Massachusetts stayed as third with rent at $2,300.
Le moins cher
–Fall River, MA saw rent grow $40 to $940 but stayed the most affordable in the metro.
–Worcester, MA was second with rent at $1,240.
–Brockton, MA rent fell $30 to $1,300 but it held onto its position as the third least expensive.
Growth Rate

–Lowell, MA had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 12.4%.
–Fall River, MA rent grew 11.9%, making it second.
–Framingham, MA rent had the third largest year over year growth rate, climbing 9.5%.

–Lowell & Worcester, MA tied for second with rents both up 5.1%.
–Waltham, MA followed closely behind as third with rent climbing 4.9% last month.
