Austin Metro Report: August 2018

The Zumper Austin Metro Report analyzed active listings in July across 13 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The state median one bedroom rent was $955 last month.

Austin, TX continued to rank as the most expensive city in the metro with rent at $1,190.

Leander, TX saw rent grow $10 to $1,150 but remained the second priciest city.

Cedar Park, TX moved up one spot to become third with rent at $1,090.

San Marcos, TX rent grew $10 to $900 but continued to rank as the most affordable.

Wells Branch, TX was second with one bedrooms priced at $910.

JollyvilleKyle, TX tied for third with prices both at $970.
