Atlanta Rent Prices Mapped This Spring 2017

Coming ahead of Dallas, Scottsdale, and Nashville, Atlanta ranked as the 20th most expensive rental market in the nation this month. The price of one bedroom units settled at a median of $1,330, while two bedroom units were priced at $1,680. Although rent prices took a slight dip this month, the price of two bedrooms is up over 8% since this time last year.

All above the $1,600 threshold for one bedroom units, Midtown, Peachtree Heights West, and Inman Park were the most expensive neighborhoods to rent this spring. South Tuxedo Park, North Buckhead, and Buckhead Village were all tied for the next priciest area with rent at $1,600. More affordable rentals, for less than $1,250, could be found in and around Marietta Street Artery, Virginia Highland, and Underwood Hills.

Brookwood and Ansley Park had the fastest growing rents this quarter, up 9% and 8%, respectively.
