Atlanta Metro Report: November 2019

The Zumper Atlanta Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 18 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Georgia one bedroom median rent was $1,002 last month.

The Most Expensive

–Atlanta was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,430.

–Decatur rent dropped 4.8% to $1,400 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Brookhaven was third with rent priced at $1,380.

The Least Expensive

–East Point ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $770.

–Tucker was second with rent at $870.

–Stockbridge and Marietta tied for third with rents both priced at an even $1,000.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–East Point had the fastest growing rent, up 8.5% since this time last year.

–Decatur saw rent climb 7.7%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Suwanee was third with rent growing 6.6%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

–Lawrenceville had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 2.7%.

–Smyrna rent jumped 1.6% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Brookhaven ranked as third with rent up 1.5%.
