Atlanta Metro Report: November 2018

The Zumper Atlanta Metro Report analyzed active listings in October across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Georgia one bedroom state median rent was $989 last month.

The Most Expensive

Atlanta, Géorgie was the most expensive city in the metro with rent at $1,480.

Alpharetta, GA became second with one bedrooms priced at $1,340.

Sandy Springs, GA rent was $1,280, making it the third priciest.

The Least Expensive

Gainesville, GA remained the most affordable market with rent at $900.

Norcross, GA followed closely as the second least expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $920.

Newnan, GA was third with rent at $960.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Gainesville, GA had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.4%.

Marietta, GA rent had the second largest year over year growth rate, climbing 15.1%.

Norcross, GA followed closely behind with rent jumping 15%.
