The Zumper Atlanta Metro Report analyzed active listings in April 2019 across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Georgia one bedroom state median rent was $1,011 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

Atlanta, Géorgie remained the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,470.

Sandy Springs, GA saw rent climb $70 to $1,420 but stay the second priciest.

Alpharetta, GA was third with rent at $1,330.

Gainesville, GA continued to rank as the most affordable city with rent at $900.

Norcross, GA followed closely as second with one bedrooms priced at $940.

Newnan, GA rent remained at $1,020 and as the third least expensive.

Growth Rate

Newnan, GA had the fastest growing rent, climbing 14.6% since this time last year.

Alpharetta, GA saw rent grow 12.7%, making it second.

Gainesville, GA was third with rent up 9.8%.
