The Zumper Atlanta Metro Report analyzed active listings in November across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Georgia one bedroom state median was $985 last month.
Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Atlanta, Géorgie rent, though dropping $10 to $1,370, continued to rank as the most expensive in the metro.
–Johns Creek, GA bumped up two spots and past Dunwoody and Alpharetta to rank as the second priciest city with one bedrooms at $1,190.
–Alpharetta, Dunwoody, & Sandy Springs, GA all tied for third with rents priced at $1,180.
The Least Expensive
–Gainesville, GA remained the most affordable city with rent at $780.
–Norcross, GA rent, though growing $10 to $810, continued to rank as the second least expensive.
– Marietta, GA was third with rent priced at $900.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Gainesville, GA had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 11.4%.
–Newnan, GA followed suit as second with rent climbing 9.6% since this time last year.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Roswell, GA rent jumped 5.2% last month, making it the fastest growing in the metro.
–Marietta, GA had the second largest monthly growth rate, climbing 4.7%.
