A 4th of July celebration isn’t complete without a red, white, and blue firework show accompanied by a patriotic tune. If you happen to be in one of these major cities this Independence Day, here’s where to catch the best show in town.
Washington D.C.

It’s only fitting that our nation’s capital puts on a firework display that many consider to be the best. You can catch the iconic show from a variety of places around the city with memorials and monuments in the foreground including on the National Mall, across the Potomac River, and from rooftop bars.
Chicago

If you find yourself in the Windy City this Thursday, head to Navy Pier where the show will start at 9:30 pm. Go early to grab a good seat!
Boston

Watch the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade along the banks of the Charles River; the show draws in nearly 500,000 people each year. The free event also includes concerts on the evening on the 3rd and the 4th, and this year performers range from Queen Latifah to the US Navy band, Sea Chanters Chorus.
Los Angeles

Fireworks flying over and reflecting off of the ocean? Count us in. Head to Marina Del Rey to watch the show from Burton Chace Park or snag a seat at a waterfront restaurant. Want a viewing party on the water? Board the Queen Mary to watch the Long Beach fireworks.
Denver

Get back-to-back firework displays in Denver with Independence Eve fireworks held at Civic Center Park. On the 4th, watch the show at either the Elitch Gardens Park or at the Mile High Fourth of July event held at the Broncos Stadium
Dallas

With lots of patriotic events happening around the city, it’s hard to pick just one, but Fair Park hosts an all-day Independence party with a firework show finale that kicks off at 9:30 pm.
New York

Macy’s will host an extravagant firework show along the East River with musical performances from Ciara, Brad Paisley, and Maren Morris. You can watch the show from their official viewing points throughout Lower Manhattan including Market and Cherry Street, Pearl Street and St. James Place, or Broad and Water Street.
