Loved living here for 7 years. The layout/design of the buildings makes it very hard to hear neighbors (at least in a 1 bedroom) since the bedroom is on a corner and does not share a wall with any other apartments. The property manager is awesome and very understanding. However the washing machines and dryers are coin operated so you always need a stash of quarters on hand.

Wonderful place to stay! I was lucky enough to be referred to this place by way of a nearby apartment agency, and I have not been disappointed! Approaching 4 years now, and as long as prices remain competitive, I plan to be here until I purchase a home. Beautiful property in a quiet area, and consistently maintained...the ONLY downside is no in-unit washer/dryer (but there is community laundry in the basement that is kept up pretty well). All the neighbors are very kind and each one seems invested in keeping up the property overall. They run a tight ship to maintain quality, so as long as you do your part, you'll be happy!!!!
The best first apartment a girl can ask for! I stayed in a 1 bedroom here for 3 years, and it was truly hard to leave but it was simply time for something else.
I was blessed enough to get a 2nd floor unit smack dab right in the middle of the courtyard. It was a view unlike any other! The apartments, in and out, were meticulously maintained and they were gorgeous on the inside despite some of them being what some people would call "outdated". Parking was always easy and all utilities are included. The pool was always a great time and all of the residents are very kind! Not too mention all of the wonderful events that Penny would host! It was a joy and a blessing to be apart of a wonderful community.
I've seen reviews stating that Penny is a mean woman (which couldn't be further from the truth) - she has a hard exterior, but is in fact very warm and endearing if you get to know her. In addition, she literally works her ass off, managing multiple communities on top of this one... AND THEY'RE ALL WONDERFULLY KEPT, so I believe she deserves a break!!
There are a select few apartment you find out there that truly exceed all expectations, and this is one of them! It was cozy, clean, well-taken care of, all at a very fair price.
You can easily make this apartment home - in fact, many residents do!! It was rather common to meet a neighbor whose been there for 10+ years, and I was never surprised because this place was just that amazing. ❤
My only, if one at all suggestion would be read and understand your lease thoroughly as there are some stipulations I'd never encountered before, but nothing at all unreasonable - just simply caught me a little off guard!
I loved this place and would still be here if I didn't desire to be closer to the city!

We've lived here for a year now and this place is a gem. We were lucky and got a courtyard view. The sound of the fountain at night is magical!
The apartment is long with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The crown molding is a nice touch and makes it feel slightly more upscale.
The courtyard and surrounding walkways are meticulously maintained and the pool is clean and serene. Penny and her team are absolutwly wonderful! They respond quickly and always keep things running smoothly and looking great. They have even hosted several parties this summer!
We're really happy with our place here and would recommend Courts of Williamsburg wholeheartedly!
The apartment - This is my first apartment, as I’m fresh out of college. I chose to move here primarily since I am working downtown. The apartment/complex is just like the pictures and description, BEAUTIFUL! The key features of the swimming pool outside, garden in the courtyard, walk in closets, stainless steal appliances, and granite counter tops are exquisite. The parking lot’s spots are wider than any parking lot around here including the stores, so there’s no issues with my new car being out there. There have been no major problems here at all, as it is well maintained and safe. Only issue I’ve come across was a ceiling leak, which was fixed that same month. I have no kids and my 1 bredroom apartment is extremely spacious with over 800 square feet. My favorite of all is that all utilities are included except electricity and rent is still barely a thousand dollars. This is by far the biggest bang for your buck around here.
The area - The Naperville/Lisle area is very great as everything is in your reach -the outdoor mall at Oakbrook, downtown Naperville (which is amazing), and the metra station is down the street. They have fixed the parking nightmare at Naperville station so you can park and get in/out whenever you please. Only negatives here is that diversity and nightlife are almost non existent. There’s a bar Louie and another spot called Features that about 10 minutes away downtown but it’s always half empty even on weekends. So if you work/go downtown often, that’s your best best for bar hopping/clubbing. In terms of diversity, I’m the only black guy in almost every scenery here, from my building, in the stores, even in the gym most of the time. However, I am respectful and everyone I’ve encountered have reciprocated that so I don’t have a problem with anyone anywhere.
The property manger - Penny is the only manager and person to talk to, but she is very responsive and easy to work with. In fact, she has an emergency maintenance team available for off hours, but nothing goes wrong so I’ve never had to call them. Another thing is that you are able to pay rent eCheck and have it taken straight out of your account instead of Writing and mailing checks-such a convenience.
Overall, This is quite lengthy, but if you can land an apartment here, you’ll love it. And to all of my other fellow bachelors with no kids, prepare to take trips downtown Chicago to save you from being bored to death.

Moved in July of 2012 and now preparing to re-sign lease of my 2nd floor unit overlooking the park. Overall, I moved here because my girlfriend advised that I'd like it here more than the cheaper place I planned to chose. I think that she was right.
I've enjoyed my first year and am highly considering staying another year. Appliances were modern and up to date. The only thing that I really didn't care for was the paint job. Very few cosmetic issues with the apartment when I moved in - minor issues during my first year - all of which the management and I were able to work out.
Gatherings are held on occasion for all residents. I only attended one (had a good time) but I think they're held at least 1 every other month. I didn't use the pool last year but I've seen several people enjoying it last summer.
The courtyard is beautiful. However, for those of you planning to move here I want you to know that I doubt that it's easy to get a courtyard view apartment. I don't think that they're available often and if they are I'm pretty sure that there are current residents trying to move into those units. When I first inquired about moving here there was only one unit available but I didn't care for the view so I asked the management to let me know if a court yard or park side view apartment became available. I followed up with management for a few months until a park side view became available.
Overall, I'm very happy with my 2nd floor unit overlooking the park and as long as they keep the price competitive I'll stay another year.

I know nothing of this place except for the fact that Sole Sauce 06 is definitely Penny.
