Where do I even start… I have lived here for 1 year, I was in a 1bed and 1bath, I would’ve stayed there longer if home ownership wasn’t waiting for me lol! I have always been so grateful and happy with how beautiful the property is, i absolutely love all the nature features, and the pool looks so gorgeous with the stone!! Anytime I needed help with anything maintenance wise. It was always very well taken care of and quicker than I expected even with small stuff that really wasn’t a big deal. If you’re afraid of them not answering the phone in the office that has never happened my entire time, anytime I call when they’re open I get an answer, and if not they are quick to get back to me/ response to emails or call back. I love how I had no down deposit, this place is pet friendly and allows you to have 2 pets!! Everything inside the apartment was brand new , Including the appliances, and the paint job was great. I love the wood and the carpet actually was nice, Not that old crusty looking one that you see in most places. I also want to talk about Michael who works in the office, Not only is he just a great person to be around in general, but he does his job so well I’m talking about like TOP TEIR, very friendly and welcoming, so personable, genuine, helpful, and literally the most amazing person there that I have interacted with. I don’t know what he gets paid, but whatever it is, it needs to be doubled because if I could give this man 10 stars, I would, and if I’m keeping it real, he is also the reason why I am even writing this review to begin with, but I wanted to throw in some helpful things about the apartment as well for future tenants. 20/10 recommend

I've been at Post Oak for a month now and so far, so good. Raven was so nice and easy to work with initially and my place is seriously a steal for the price. I have one of the 1BR lofts and I literally have twice the space my friend does who lives in another complex in the east end, which he pays almost $200 more a month for. Plus I have a wood burning fireplace and high ceilings that I'm obsessed with. I have some very small maintenance issues that I'm about to report but nothing major at all. The only small inconvenience is the parking. On occasion (like late on Monday night when everyone is home) it's hard to find a spot close to my apartment, but I've never seen the lot completely full. I'm very happy here. I feel safe, I have a great place, and everyone I've met is genuinely friendly and helpful.
Also, I'm not sure if any of the issues stated in the old reviews are valid anymore... from what I understand Post Oak is under new management this year. My apartment was spotless upon move in.... haha I haven't noticed any "drug dealers or pimps" anywhere.

I was lucky to have been able to live at Post Oak for a year. I have lived in multiple apartment complexes in Louisville, specifically the East End, over the years. Post Oak is by far one of my favorite residences, and I am actually sad to leave. To be honest, the parking situation has improved over the months. The renovations in my apartment were really nice--hardwood laminate and new black appliances. The neighbors and the community are very welcoming, more so than any other complex I have ever lived. Overall, the management is outstanding! Shana, the Property Manager, truly cares about residents and always goes the extra mile to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction. She never lets a request go unanswered or a voice go unheard. Right off the bat, I felt at home. Erica is also very welcoming and always greets you with a smile. Brian, the Manager of Maintenance, has always done everything he could to ensure quality of residence. Brian is also very friendly, helping look for lost dogs, late-night lock-outs, and ensuring the safety of every resident. It really does make a difference to have a maintenance staff that you can truly trust and are comfortable having in your home. All in all, this is one heck of a team--one in which I will genuinely miss. Post Oak is hands-down one of the best apartment complexes in the East End of Louisville.

I'm so glad I chose to live here for the past year. The location is great, the management team is extremely friendly, and the amenities, such as the pool, are top-notch. The laundry facilities are very convenient and the rent is very affordable. Another plus is the friendly cats and the welcoming community of neighbors. I couldn't ask for a better place to call home.
Lived here several years, no major complaints. Parking and laundry can be a bit of a chore on busy days. Recent maintainance has been prompt and competent.
I love this place. They are doing so much work to make the community better! On top of that they are getting ahead of the trees and the rot and other things related. Seeing them make sure our homes don’t get destroyed by a huge limb dropping on our buildings and planting new trees where they took out the old one, I totally appreciate.

I love this community! Brooke is such an outstanding leasing agent, took care of all my needs and so far I’ve been living here for a month and have had no complaints, totally recommend this place to all of my friends.
We really enjoy the park-like atmosphere of the complex. The new management is working hard to make improvements throughout the community. It is the perfect location, so convenient for grocery shopping and easy access to the highway. Our toddler loves to take walks in the neighborhood and see all the animals. The people who live in the area are so friendly!
