I absolutely loved my living experience at the Savoy Lofts in downtown El Paso! I highly recommend this space if you want to experience all of the highlights of downtown living in El Paso, Texas! The apartment space is amazing and I loved the tall ceilings and wood floors. It was a bright and airy space with a lot of natural light. I was on the 4th floor and had a wonderful view of downtown and Mexico. The apartment is centrally located and in close proximity (walking distance) to so many amazing local spots including restaurants, shops, and venues. The apartment complex has a rooftop area that is super cozy with an amazing view! Apartment access is controlled and access into the building requires a key fob and a key fob is also required to access your floor. I really liked that the main floor of the building was secured, and each individual floor was also secured. There is one elevator in the building and in more than a year it was only down for maintenance once. Mail boxes are located in the entrance to the building and very easy to access. The mail system in the downtown area tends to be delayed by a day or two. The postal service said this is due to the way the downtown area is zoned/sectioned for mail. Because of the secured entrance to the building, package delivery was sometimes a challenge as UPS and FedEx would often just put a sticker notice on the outside of the building door and not attempt delivery. Management changed as I was going through the application process and Hiett, Pharr, & Associates, LLC took over management. Jason Hiett was my primary point of contact while I was a resident there and he was always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. There were never any serious issues or problems during my time there. My only "complaint" is that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything going on with your neighbors. Though this usually was not an issue, especially during the day. This is a pet-friendly apartment complex but is not the best place to have a pet because these are small spaces, noise travels, and there is no immediate outside access. The same with kids. I would not recommend this space if you have children.
