Tyler and I loved our time at Slatersville Mill! This was our first apartment together, and all of our friends and family couldn’t believe the value this property offered us, and we were proud to call this home for 3 years. While the amenities are amazing, my favorite parts of this community include the views of the canal from our apartment, the amazing landscaped grounds and the friendly neighbors and management. We spent many nights by the BBQ stations and playing cards, socializing with neighbors who became close friends. Myka and Nicole were amazing the entire time, and I looked forward to seeing them when picking up packages or just to say hi while walking by with our pup. Parking is ABUNDANT and there is no need to worry about your own or your guests parking. Valet trash was amazing. We miss our apartment home and are thankful for the 3 wonderful years we spent there.
I was fortunate enough to live at the Mills for a little less than a year (job relocation forced me to AZ). I loved my time spent there. The community is nice, the staff is incredibly helpful (especially Samantha). They made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. The facility is beautiful. The apartments are unique and comfortable. I would have stayed there for years if I wasn't forced across the country. Definitely recommend checking it out!!
My husband and I have lived at Slatersville Mill with a close friend of ours for a little over two years now and we have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.
The grounds are beautiful and the management has been nothing less than spectacular. We have lived at a few other complexes in the past and have never experienced this level of service from any other management staff.
Typically the great service stops the moment you move in but that’s definitely not the case at Slatersville Mill. Each one of the management staff is prompt, friendly, welcoming and over all amazing. Particularly Sam and Myka! Over the past few years we feel we have come to know the two of them well and they’ve always been ready to help at a moment’s notice.
We have only needed to call maintenance out a handful of times during our lease but when we did, it was simply painless, the issues were fixed in record time. The apartments themselves are beautiful and unique and the high ceilings make it seem so much larger than it actually is. You absolutely can’t beat this complex for the price especially with all the added amenities (pool, gym, rec center, secure package room, screening room etc).
I almost never take the time to write reviews (good or bad) but honestly living here has been so great I had to say something on their behalf. Sadly we are moving out at the end of the month to relocate to Florida. This has been our favorite place to call home and we are so sad to go. We highly recommend Slatersville Mill to anyone who is looking! You truly won’t find a better combination of quality, welcoming vibes and reasonable price point than you will here.

Beautiful community, safe, pet friendly, and wonderful neighbors. Located near Rt 146, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and library. If you have a dog, this is a wonderful place to live, lots of room to walk your dog.
I visited here for a tour last week and will be moving in next month. Melinda and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful during our time there. The buildings, apartments and surrounding grounds were very welcoming, clean and had a beautiful historic design throughout it. The dog park onsite named “Central Bark” is wonderful and was a huge bonus amenity. The basketball court, gym, game room and movie theater are also things I look forward to utilizing at our new home. My fiancée and I are looking forward to moving in with our two dogs!
My fiancé and I have had such a pleasant experience going through the application process. Samantha has been hands down the best advocate for this community, and very helpful in answering any questions or concerns we had. Without a doubt the best interaction I've had to date during our apartment hunt. We are cant wait to move in! Will update if needed, but based on my interactions so far the staff seems excellent!

We sold our house last summer and were looking for a place to stay for a little while before moving to Florida. We signed a 10 month lease in September of 2018 and will be moving out at the end of the lease, which is in a couple of weeks.
We've generally been happy with the decision to move to Slatersville. The front office staff Melinda (who left a month or two ago) & Myka have been wonderful. They're both kind, helpful and genuine.
We've requested maintenance for a few minor issues and everything is taken care of very quickly. They are to be commended for such great service. And they're always very mindful if you have pets (we have cats).
The grounds crew is also very good. The place usually looks great. During and after snowstorms there is usually a crew of several people clearing the parking lot and the sidewalks and they do a great job. The valet service that takes care of the trash is also excellent.
There are a couple of large common areas that can be used for parties at no charge (assuming you clean up properly) which is nice. We took advantage of them several times.
The parking lot is huge with plenty of spaces. And it is well-lit as well.
Most of the neighbors are friendly enough. And the dog owners pretty much all clean up after their pets. I do not see that as a problem. Some dogs bark a little if you walk by their apartment but it's not a big problem.
All of our appliances worked fine. There's a little wear and tear as nothing is new but they worked fine. The hot water was great - absolutely never a problem.
We did have a couple of negatives: there really should be two zones for heat and air. There's a big temperature difference between downstairs and upstairs and the only thermostat is located downstairs.
The second negative requires some explanation. Because our living room has a flat roof when it rains, wow, the sound gets magnified there. If it's raining hard you can't hear anything. But not all of the units are the same so I do not think this is an issue throughout. Also, the washer & dryer are located in the kitchen right off the living room and the washer specifically is very loud.
I debated a 4 or 5 rating but ultimately settled on a 5 as the positives far outweigh the negatives. If we were staying in RI we would continue to live here but its time to move on.

Have not moved in yet but I’m impressed with the efficiency of the lease process. More importantly, Andrea and Hannah have been VERY helpful and responsive. I appreciate their positive attitude, friendly reception and professionalism.
