Step through the red front door into a meticulously renovated space where original charm meets modern convenience. The townhouse boasts a fabulous new gourmet kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances, a large dining room, and an open floor plan. The living room, equipped with a LED Smart TV and a 3D Blu-ray/DVD player, can be converted into a private bedroom with a convertible sofa bed. The ground level apartment, which can be rented separately, adds to the capacity of the house and includes its own kitchen and full bath. Street parking is available, and we allow more than one pet with an additional charge of $8 per pet per night plus DC stay tax after the first pet. Nestled in the Shaw neighborhood, this townhouse offers easy access to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and is just a short walk from the largest grocery store in DC, Giant Foods. With a walk score of 92 and a transit score of 82, the location is perfect for exploring the city. The National Mall is approximately 25 minutes away by metro and 10 minutes by car, traffic permitting. Guests must be 25 or older to rent for insurance purposes. Smoking, sharp heels, and stilettos are prohibited due to the original hardwood flooring. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM, and no open flames are allowed. Please clean up after pets, ensuring all droppings are disposed of in garbage cans. Menstrual products should not be flushed to avoid clogging the toilets. Linens, pillows, towels, and a TV streaming device are not provided for stays over 30 nights.
