I've lived here since mid 2021 and absolutely love the landlords Shannon and Shawn. I've had terrible management in the past at other properties and they are amazing here. Shannon is always quick to respond to any concerns big or small and is happy to take care of any issues (maintenance or otherwise) we have in a timely manner. The complex itself is quiet and the campus police tend to be parked across the street or patrolling as the complex is directly across the street from UIndy. One of my concerns living in an apartment with my dog was other residents not leashing their pets. Shannon is fantastic at ensuring other tenants are following leash laws. She also provides poop bags to ensure the communal area is kept clean. Although we will soon be required to get our own wifi this is a small price to pay for a great apartment complex with management who cares. For the rent this is the most space and best quality apartment you are going to get anywhere else in the area. The space in both types of apartments is used well. Heating in the winter was able to keep up with the winter storm being -30 outside. AC in the summer works great as well. We have a window unit in the back as well as a floor untit that is connected through the wall in the living room. In the 2 bedroom you also have a small space out back with a patio and grass.

I’ve lived here for a little over a year and let me start off by saying management is absolutely wonderful! They are sweet, kind and have a very positive outlook. They genuinely care about the people who live here. If you have a maintenance request they are quick to fix the problem. The two bedrooms are very spacious I have myself, boyfriend, 2 large dogs and a newborn and we have plenty of room. I don’t typically use the laundry room but the few times I’ve gone in there it’s very clean and well maintained. For the amount of college kids who live here it is very quite. Somerset goes above and beyond for the residents. Highly recommend living here!!
