Arbors of Boerne, is simply a great place to live. My fiance and I have called this place home for over 4 years. For us it was a refuge - not only a safe place but very quiet as well (of the utmost importance for night shift workers). We are moving out of town soon, but will definitely miss this place and look back fondly on our time here. Grounds are meticulously maintained, neighbors are friendly and maintenance comes very quickly once requests are put in. One staff member in particular, Patty May, makes living in this complex a wonderful experience. She alone is reason enough to live here. She constantly makes us feel like friends and neighbors, often stopping to say hi and ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. Furthermore, she has gone above and beyond to help us every time we’ve needed her. Patty's awesomeness alone is reason enough to live here and to rate the Arbors of Boerne 5 stars. The apartment itself is very nice with an open floor plan and plenty of space for my fiance, son and myself. We never felt cramped or that we had too little space; it made for a great home. The fireplace made our home extra cozy, it has a nice sized railed balcony and convenient washer/dryer hookups in a separate storage room. The community always feels safe and secure - even at night when walking our dog. The gym is above average and there is a nice grill to use for cookouts by the pool. The other reviewers who have said they "do not allow guests" must be disgruntled because that is COMPLETELY erroneous. Read the lease as to limitations and simply abide by the contractual obligations to which you agreed to when you signed and moved in. Yes, there are limits, follow them. We have NEVER been denied guests (overnight or otherwise) and have had friends at the pool on many occasions. Of course, we have common sense to follow the rules and not become so stupid drunk, loud and obnoxious to have to mgmt called on us. Overall, it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience living here. We will miss Patty dearly and only wish we could find someone nearly as caring and competent as her at our next rental.
