Writing this review after months of trying to resolve the German roach infestation in our apartment. What started as seeing one or two when we first moved in at the end of August, has turned into at least a dozen a day being killed. They have sent out several exterminators to treat for the roaches, but for several visits they did not enter the apartment or spray. Only on this last visit did they leave any indication that our apartment was treated. When contacting the company directly, they told me they couldn't give any details, and when contacting NOAH properties, I can't get a list of the dates for service. When contacting the property manager, Ziba, she is unprofessional and quick to state she has many properties to manage and never apologized for the fact that roaches are now crawling out of our base boards. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior and a lack of care from any property manager. Though the roaches are the biggest concern at this moment, I have had nothing but bad experiences from the time I applied for this apartment to this point. As my partner and I were moving from out of state we made sure to have ample time to apply and be approved for an apartment in Greenville. We originally applied to Paris Park, and was quickly approved. Exciting!!! We then went days with absolutely zero communication from NOAH properties before being told the unit we had applied and approved for was not available, despite the website saying 4 units are available. (It still says units available... lies?) We were then offered our current unit. We were set to move in on Sunday, August 25, 2024. As this was a weekend, we had previously communicated with the property manager, Ziba, about setting a door code. Upon arrival we were locked out of our apartment. After contacting maintenance, we were told to request a lock smith and quickly received a call back questioning our request of a lock smith. We were then informed that our door code was 0000. Not only is that extremely unsafe, but weeks were allowed for this code and property to be ready for us to move in. The code stayed at 0000 until maintenance could make it out and change it. Within the first week of us moving in we began to notice roaches and made the appropriate request to have it taken care of. When the first professional to come informed us that they were not aware of the German roaches and would not be able to treat that day, delaying treatment. She came back again and was very kind and informed us that the issue is clearly in an apartment touching ours, but they can not treat without being requested by NOAH. As time passed, and we began working our 9-5 jobs, like adults do. The exterminators failed to enter our apartment due to us being at work, assuming on multiple occasions as no tangible evidence was left on our door or inside of the apartment upon any visit until the final visit. With the final visit, we were left a paper from the exterminators with only a signature and the date. Absolutely no indication of what was done. I would love to get records from NOAH or APEX about it, but perhaps they are in cahoots to keep people living in roach infested buildings. I will leave this review like this for now... Hoping to have things resolved tomorrow 11/8/24 as I have taken time off from my job, that I do with dignity and responsibility to deal with something that should have been resolved when we moved in. Can NOT wait to update on NOAH's shenanigan's moving forward.
