I lived in a 1 bed 1 bath apartment here for a year from 2018 to 2019. It was my 2nd apartment ever and a big downsze from my 1st. So naturally I was reluctant and weary about moving in after being seriously spoiled at my 1st place. Yes iut took some adjusting, but it didn't take long for me to feel like I was in my new home. Petra, the manager, is really the hidden diamond of these apartments. Her warm and caring motherly demeanor made me and my parents feel comfortable the day we looked at the place for a tour. She went SO far above and beyond to make sure that I would be happy before I moved in. And while there, she was always a call away when I needed something. (Like allegedly locking myself out one or...twelve times ha ha!) The apartments themselves are pretty standard. The kitchen and bathroom are on the smaller side, but that is made up for with the HUMONGOUS outdoor patio spanning the length of the space (with doors in living room and master bed) All the patios face inward in the complex to the beautiful courtyars, where there is a pool, the laundry room, and a peaceful backyard like view. The sense of community there is also what kept me around so long. Its like a giant family and I came to know my neighbors very well. Also for me I had no car so the location couldn't have have been better in terms of convenience. There are tons of fast food and restaurants within walking distance. As well as a movie theater, late night bar (does karaoke) and only a few miles from downtown OCALA. Its a surprisingly quiet area, hidden parallel to 40 but far enough that there isn't much noise. Petra also lives on site so if there are ever issues she is able to help usually right away. Even on her off hours she's helped me when it was an emergency. It may not look like much, I was so pleasantly surprised with my time her at AZALEA. So much so I may be moving back in soon to a 2 bedroom apartment. Hope this helped!!!!
