Located on Ohelo Rd., a quiet neighborhood with only a few homes, it offers a safe, friendly, and low-impact living environment with wonderful neighbors on all sides. The owner reserves the right to occupy the studio from January 1 to March 31 each year so no extensions will be granted. This rental is intended for those seeking a shorter stay (approximately 9 months +/-). No month-to-month or one-year leases are offered. Not a vacation rental. Minimum stay required is 6 months. The kitchen has a modest setup with a refrigerator, gas stove, sink, microwave, freestanding pantry, and a dining table with two chairs. The bedroom area consists of two twin beds (can be pushed together), a closet, loveseat, TV with stand , and a coffee table. The bathroom although small has a stand-up shower, pedestal sink, medicine cabinet, and toilet. There is no washer or dryer. Tenants will need to use nearby laundromats in Kapaa. While some essentials may be available, tenants should plan to bring their own linens, pillows, towels, dishes, utensils, and cleaning supplies if needed. The main house is occupied by existing tenants and some utilities are combined; electric and water. The studio’s portion of the cost will be determined after move-in (likely 85/15 split depending on occupancy).Tenants must set up their own internet, cable, and gas services. Yardcare is included in rent. Sorry no pets. Parking: The driveway and carport accommodate four cars total. The owner’s vehicle permanently occupies one space. Studio tenants are allowed one car. Main house tenants are allowed two cars. Parking is restricted to concrete surfaces only—no parking on the yard or street. This setup is best suited for someone with a small footprint. Each unit has a separate entry, with the only shared areas being the driveway, carport, and yard space. Tenants must be respectful, mindful of shared elements, and considerate of their neighbors. Exterior photos are not accurate; recently added: hedging, fully grassed yard, fruit trees and a covered carport.
