The first building was originally built in 1910. An addition was added to the first building in the late 1970’s and the second building was also built in the 1970’s. The 1st building is three stories and consists of seventeen 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartment units. The 2nd building is two stories and consists of eight 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartment units. Both buildings have laundry facilities and lockers. The exterior of the buildings is primarily red brick. The buildings are on a master key system, therefore a key deposit of $25.00 per key is required, fully refundable at the end of the term. The Owner is responsible for property taxes, building insurance, water, sewer, common area electrical charges, lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, garbage removal, property management, cleaning, maintenance and repairs of the common areas. Tenants are responsible for tenant insurance and electrical charges in connection to their individual unit (Units are heated electrically). Tenants must be willing sign a 1-year lease and provide a deposit equal to one month’s rent at the time of applying. Neighbourhood: 246-252 John Street North is located on the west side of John Street, north of Madawaska Street. It’s one block south of the Arnprior Hospital.
