My name is Lisa Burnett and My stay at Willowbend has been great.Amanda is awsome we just love her she is very patient and sweet. When a problem come about she is very qiuck to respond and fix it. The apartments itself is wonder very quiet and beautiful the grounds are well kept and lovely my kids love going outside. My neighbors are nice and sweet I would recommend Willowbend to my friends and family or to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to live. Thank you Amanda@Willowbend!!
I do not recommend living in these apartments. They are not well kept up, getting anything fixed is a nightmare, and they'll keep charging you rent even after you move out. Not to mention the apartments are not even worth the amount they're charging for them. Trying to get anything worked out with the management team is a nightmare. Tie all that in with constant drug problems and grass that's always covered in dog poop. Save your money and find somewhere better.

After reading the review of Rebecca Leach, I felt it was necessary to correct a few things. One should never trust a review from someone who was asked to leave and pretending not to know why, because we all just know that there is always a reason. She claims that she kept to herself but said "she heard...". and then says something about another tenant, which isn't really keeping to herself, that is more like gossiping. She gossiped about others and tried to cause trouble. 12 was not innocent, for he urinated on another tenant's door as well as destroyed the meter box before leaving(he wasn't even in the lease!). The management still can't rent out 12 as a result. She also failed to mention that her friends harassed other people, including egging someone's door, which is why the police were called. Had 7 been harassing others with the police, as she claimed, wouldn't showing the police videos be pointless? The videos were used as evidence to charge another ex tenant should 7 decide to press charges. Since Rebecca, 12, and 11 have left, things have been peaceful here. There hasn't been police needed, nor have other tenants been harassed. The new management had to undo so much damage from previous tenants, that they have had their hands full. The new maintenance staff is very nice. The new manager is rough around the edges sometimes, but she is trying to improve things here. Well, ok, Jessica is more than a little rough around the edges. She is not a people person. She doesn't care about the tenants that live there. Her poor attitude has caused people to leave. She will fight with you and make up things so that you can't get your deposit back. She will lie to you in a heartbeat. But they did take care of the bedbugs in all of the apartments. They treated all of the apartments, even ones like ours that didn't have any.
At the time that Rebecca lived there, there were two managers, 1 in Dallas, 1 in Houston. The one from Dallas was supposed to be the one to handle the paperwork, the one in Houston the daily stuff. The one in Dallas left the keys at number 7 to give the one in Houston. After weeks of harassment by 11, number 7 called and received permission from the one in Houston to show the police video of 11 egging 7's door. So yes, it's true, Rebecca did see 7 showing the police the video, but in her gossiping, she omitted facts to stir up trouble. That is the type of things that people had to live around her had to deal with. Twisting facts and then telling anyone who listens. She did that often. It didn't help her cause with the manager. And I seriously doubt it if the manager didn't know why she was kicked out when it was the manager that kicked her out. Who else would kick her out? She got kicked out because she caused trouble. You don't get kicked out if you are innocent.
Also, about the complex itself, if you can, get an apartment on the top floor in the first building. There is no concrete in between the floors on the first building, so anyone in the bottom floor is at the mercy of those on top. You can hear everything, couples fighting, having sex, everything. In the 2nd building, there is concrete, but that side tends to be the rowdy side.
There also isn't a playground or anything for kids to play at. There is a patch of grass, but people don't pick up after their dogs, so kids just end up playing in the parking lot. That means that your car might get hit by balls, so just be aware if you have a nice car.
That and the new manager is terrible.
