Although the complex has gone through many leasing managers over the past several years I feel confident that they have found the perfect fit. The new manager displays a very caring and friendly demeanor. I have live here for almost 20 years and I have seen and dealt with a lot of personalities but I definitely feel that things will change for the better.

I lived here for 2 years and am sad to leave! This has been the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. It's relatively small so you do not get as many as amenities as with larger complexes but the quiet atmosphere, apartment staff, and price more than make up for it! Maintenance is excellent; same day or at the latest next day service. Ken, the apartment manager, is AMAZING. He is so kind, responds very quickly to anything you may need, and goes out of his way to take care of the individuals in this complex. I recommend this complex to everyone I know that is moving to the area and there is a reason there is a waiting list here!

Ethan and the office staff are all very friendly and know me by name. Any maintenance issue that I have had, has been resolved within 24 hours. Quiet environment and great internet- both of which are very important to me as a student. Both roommates that I was matched with during my time here have been a good fit. I had a very good experience living here!

By far the best apartment living experience I’ve had. The community is diverse, friendly, and vibrant. The apartment itself exceeded my expectations as it was very homey and most importantly spacious. It was more than enough space for 2 college guys and a 125 pound Newfoundland puppy! Furthermore, I have never encountered such a helpful and friendly office staff as the girls at The Edge at Oakland. Both Amy and Breana went to great lengths to ensure that all the little problems that are bound to happen at any apartment complex, were always figured out promptly. Aside from being phenomenal with their jobs, they were always incredibly welcoming and friendly every time I stepped into the leasing office. Although my time at the edge has come to an end, I will definitely always keep this as my first option for apartment living.

Today, I had the best experience. I met Keona, as it was her first day, she did an Aamazing job!!! She was really welcoming, honest, transparent, cheerful and committed to help. I was so happy that I signed up for the apartment right away! She is AMAZING, and the apartments are wonderful. She is the property manager and she will do you good. Also, Kenita helped us a lot with the apartment and was very friendly. She was very informative and gave us the apartment tour. The whole team is amazing and would definitely recommend these apartments. It was a blessed day.

Perfect place to live. I lived there for 5 years before moving away for work. Rent is reasonable. The apartments are spacious and have all the modern equipment, especially the washer and dryer. There is ample storage space. In 5 years i lived there,i never ran out of storage space. The manager ken is a wonderful person. Anything broken, needs repair and replacement will be taken care of within a few hours. There is a lot of space around the apartments to walk around. The gym and the pool are clean and well maintained. Trash is always removed on time. Staff is very friendly and never shies away from helping one out. I would seriously recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an apartment near Oakland university or Chrysler headquarters.

I had to rewrite my review because the team here is AMAZING! Darien and Karen are a powerhouse at running this place. The previous leasing company (LR took over in Jan of 2024), had left some issues in the units but they quickly resolve any of them, and so quickly. I cannot attest to these guys enough. Additionally the units are perfectly spacious, and well upkept with this team. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the neighbors are all so friendly. Any issue we've run into since moving in is fixed so quickly and they're so kind. I'm happy to call this place home!
