Artifacts Apartments is a great place to live. Everyone that lives there is so friendly to one another. The apartments are in very close walking distance to downtown Springfield. The landlord and corresponding crew is very welcoming and friendly and is always willing to help in any situation. I’ve lived there for two years and it was an amazing experience. I recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great loft in downtown Springfield.

Do NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone! Our son & his roommates just received a notification of charges that was exorbitantly excessive by even inflationary standards ($150 for lightbulbs, $30 for dollar-fifty doorstoppers, etc.). I'm sure there will be a blanket reply by management in response justifying their gouging tactics, but know that we've been told by several former tenants from acquaintances that they too had received excessive charges when ending their lease here - obviously a gouging practice to rip people off on their way out the door. I've put 3 kids through college and each has stayed in multiple apartments throughout the years and had no issues even close to this sham. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
