I lived here for 3 years. I was one of the first to move-in after the project finished. Honestly I’m only moving because of the rent increases after 3 years.
Everything is pristinely kept. Lots of amenities like pool, jacuzzi, gym, bike storage, business room, balcony, huge mail room with parcel lockers, garage parking, rooftop with fire pit, all appliances including washer & dryer. Pretty secure building with key fob entry and security presence at times.
Quiet place overall other than loud fire alarm ever so often.
Property managers Ana & Madison have been extremely helpful in responding to my needs. I would highly recommend this place if you’re moving to the SFV!

A lot of these reviews seem biased—likely from people who were difficult to work with in the first place or, even worse, trying to gatekeep this building. Given its pricing, amenities, and overall quality, it’s no surprise that some people might try to talk it down unfairly to discourage others from moving in. That’s pretty messed up, especially when it comes at the expense of the building manager, Ana, who has been nothing but professional and attentive.
In my experience renting, Ana is one of the best managers I’ve come across. She is extremely responsive to both building concerns and personal concerns, ensuring that everything is handled efficiently.
The maintenance team is also excellent. If tenants don’t submit their requests through the Domuso app or website, that’s on them—because every time I’ve submitted a request properly, maintenance has responded within two days at the latest, and in many cases, on the same day. I’ve never had an issue with maintenance delays.
The building amenities are well-maintained and function properly. On the rare occasion that something malfunctions, it’s addressed quickly and efficiently. Considering that Ana primarily manages the building on her own most of the time, I think she does an outstanding job and provides excellent customer service to the tenants.
Unfortunately, I have to move out sooner than expected due to school. Finding another building with the same amenities, aesthetic, and quality as this one has been a real challenge. Many places may look nice from the outside, but I can guarantee they don’t meet the standards that Watermark upholds. If it weren’t for school, I would have gladly extended my lease and stayed here.
ANNA IS THE BEST!! 🥰

I’ve lived at Watermark for about 2 years, and after reading some of the 1star reviews on here, I had to leave a couple of comments.
To begin, I have had nothing short of an amazing time at Watermark. I moved to LA from Arizona and had 1 day to find an apartment that was close to school and close to work. Not only did Ana help me in finding an apartment fast, she also made sure everything was taken care of for me so that my move could be effortless. Two years later, she continues to do everything she can to make sure that any issues that arise are solved to the best of her abilities. Miguel, who is in charge of maintenance, has also been a saving grace in helping make sure all the maintenance requests for the entire community are taken care of, day in and day out.
Second, for those leaving 1star reviews saying that staff leaves at 5pm, those hours have been posted throughout the community for as long as I can remember, and constant communication goes out about hours that change or if the office is closed.
1star reviews about pet owners not cleaning up, have a talk with your neighbors! There are signs posted everywhere and as a pet owner, we all know what our responsibilities are. Those are OUR responsibilities, not our management.
1star reviews about cops being called, look around at our surroundings. Cops are called every day all day in LA, again that has nothing to do with our management company or the owners of this building. That’s LA living to put it quite bluntly.
The building is beautiful and the units are amazing. Posting negative reviews about a bad experience here and there is still not going to get any issues solved. It just gives the building that WE ALL live in, a bad reputation.
Handle the issues with management, in person or in an email, but don’t post negatively all over the internet. And remember, Ana and Miguel are the only two people running this building that has 250 units, so things may take a little bit of time.
Let’s all take a step back and be grateful for the building we live in, and show some support, respect and gratitude to those who are trying to make each of our apartments more than that, and provide us with a home.

I’ve been living at Watermark Apartments for nearly three years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The management team is responsive and attentive, always addressing any concerns or maintenance requests promptly. The community is friendly and welcoming, which has made living here feel like home.
The facilities are well-maintained, and the amenities, like the fitness center and pool, are a great bonus. The location is convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. My apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with modern appliances and a layout that suits my needs perfectly.
There have been some complaints recently about noise and dogs, but this is just a byproduct of living in a bustling city like Los Angeles. While I’ve noticed some negative reviews, I haven’t encountered any of the issues mentioned. Overall, I highly recommend Watermark Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed living space.
Well after 6 months, i decided to come back here and give a update on my review, I see some other reviews in here and I just don't agree, it's so easy to come here and give a bad review when the problem is you, people Dont follow rules, and like every other place you rent you have to follow the building policy's, otherwise you are out i don't know if that apply to any of those cases in here but I seen some situations already, so let's get back to my review, like i said before Ana and Madison that I got to know after I moved Are very nice people they are always walking around and checking to see if everything is ok, this property is very clean all the times even on the weekends, the guest parking seem to be small so if you planning to have someone over just make sure you find parking in front of the building, let's get to the delivery the place has parcel pending for free of service all you have to do is signup I see that Amazon leave the package on the mailroom sometimes but you have to ask the Amazon delivery to put that package using you mobile app, about security, Los Angeles is not safe like was 20 years ago so just look around your surrounding, as matter fact I never encountered people nuisance inside the building, now outside is not the building problem, I think is the city problem, I noticed that they changed all the bbq on the rooftop, they are brand new and I do use them a lot, gym is 24 hours ,so you can workout in your time,l enjoy 2 or 3 events that the building did to meet your neighbors, very good idea as many of us live in place for years without getting to know on own neighbors overall it's been a good experience for myself, a good review is all better after a good time, so I came back to update this one oh I almost forgot. The maintenance people are on point one day my alarm went down I didn't even know, they came in 10'mim and told me that they received a alert saying my unit had defaulted sensor, so he changed i

Management has been nothing but polite and pleasant. My sister and I love how spacious the unit is, everything was working from day 1, the gym has everything you need and is never crowded, the parking is secure with friendly guards always protecting, and the building itself is gorgeous. Yeah the fire alarms have been a bit much, but I understand that it’s a necessary annoyance and only temporary. At least we can have peace of mind knowing they work, for that I don’t mind a few minutes of ringing every other day. Consider me a happy camper here at The Watermark!
Eamon,
The fire alarms that you have been hearing are required by the fire department testing the various fire and safety systems throughout the property. They were conducted by a fire inspector required by the city.
It was not our intent to disturb any of the adjoining neighbors however this testing was mandatory.
Sorry for the disruption.!!

I've been living here since the building opened and have had a great experience overall. I want to give a big shoutout to Ana from the leasing office – her customer service has been exceptional! The maintenance team is always prompt with fulfilling service requests, and the apartment management takes tenant safety seriously, making necessary security upgrades to the property.
Like many areas in Los Angeles, some units here have had water damage, but luckily, we didn’t experience it. The place is super dog-friendly, and our unit has always been peaceful, with only minor issues that are never overbearing. The building itself feels solid, especially during earthquakes – we've had personal experience, and it held up well!
One of the cool perks is that depending on your unit, you can enjoy great mountain views or even a fireworks show during certain holidays, especially if you check out the rooftops. Most of the neighbors are friendly and welcoming once you get to know them.
The one downside is that the commercial spaces on-site haven’t been active since we moved in, and it would be amazing to have a nearby spot to grab a meal. It feels like that would complete the community experience. The building could use a little more work in some areas, but I've noticed they’re striving to improve, and I really appreciate that effort. Overall, I’ve learned that putting out good energy brings it back to you, and this place has been a solid home for us!
