Alberta 13 was a mess of a place to live. I moved into new construction, but initial (normal) construction related damages to the unit were never addressed by the management. Additionally, several necessary repairs to my bathroom sink took over 6 weeks to address, meaning that I had to use the kitchen during that time. One number for the office on the website has never worked for me; once I spent four days trying to reach out to the property management about an error on the rental charges for the month; I ended up having to call the line for prospective tenants (a completely unrelated department) in order to get a response. I've never had this much trouble getting anything fixed at an apartment in my ten years of renting. It is also worth noting that the management includes a clause in the lease that has it automatically roll over to month to month at the termination of the lease. While this is fairly normal, I have never had a rental company fail to give me the courtesy of a notice of the termination of the current contract and the progression to month to month other than Alberta13. This predatory behavior will lock you into another month of rent if you're not re-reading your lease on a regular basis, so be wary.
