I lived in these apartments in 1984 while stationed at Mather Air Force Base. It was so much fun and I have such fond memories. I dated a beautiful girl from the area by the name of Sharon Rea and we loved the pool and hot tub. I'm sure the area has changed dramatically. ...but it was fun for a young airman, so many years ago! !

Hi Everyone, We've lived here a month now so I'm updating the Yelp reviews to 2024. Vintage Faire is a small-medium sized apartment complex near Highway 50 and Sunrise Blvd. The property is quiet and kept in nice condition with lots of trees - a real homey feel. The outside neighborhood is nice and well kept. Safety is very important to us and we do feel very safe here. There is a front security gate for cars. We have only seen tenants in and around the property - no one from the outside. We've met a number of tenants, and they are all friendly. There is a small pool with spa that's great on hot days. There are a few dogs on the property, but the owners walk them on a leash and they clean up any dog mess. There are a few kids, and they are polite and don't make a lot of noise. There are two laundry rooms with plenty of washers and dryers so no big wait times. We looked at the apartments twice in 2023. Steven, the manager, was always helpful, friendly, and professional. When we set an appointment, he was always on time. We told him we needed an apartment in 2024 and he kept us informed about upcoming vacancies. That was very helpful and made our move much easier. On move-in day, Steven dropped by twice to make sure everything was going smoothly. As it turned out, the A/C was not working that afternoon. Maintenance called the A/C company they use and the repairman was there in two hours. BTW, even with Sacramento heat, the central A/C is quiet and works great! No problem keeping the apt cool. We had a couple small maintenance items. Ricky is in charge of maintenance and he is very responsive for repairs. Last week, our garbage disposal started leaking. I put in a repair request and an hour later we had a new disposal. Works fine. Overall I fell that the manager and maintenance are helpful, friendly, engaged, and professional Highly recommended!
