I can't say enough about this apartment complex, its staff and its residents! Sandy, Kelly, and maintenance guy (I am so sorry - forgot your name sir!) are so welcoming and helpful! I am a travel nurse and we all just love it here! The furnished apartments are wonderful and have everything you could need. I had all appliances I needed and plenty of space. The residents are so kind too! Loved chatting with them in the hallways! <3 Perfect for those with pets because there's a river walk right behind the property with several attached parks. It's really pretty and perfect for walking my pups. Couldn't have asked for a better living situation for my time in Wausau and I would happily come back if I ever find myself there again! Thank you guys so much <3

I can't say enough good things about our time at Island Place. We are travelling nurses and this is by far the best short term rental experience we have had. The building is secure and meticulously cared for. The grounds are beautiful and close to walking trails and the river. Most importantly the management team is thoughtful and responsive. They went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would rent here again without a second thought!
