I stayed here for my senior year and had a great experience. I rented a classic studio apartment rather than a remodeled one, and it had a surprisingly huge closet and an actual bathtub rather than just a shower stall. My rent was very affordable, and I had no problems with noise. The only time I heard anything at all from within the building was when my neighbor occasionally watched tv, and that stopped at a reasonable hour. I also had no problems getting my security deposit back, unlike what I've heard from friends who lived in other places. Of note, there is a really convenient bus stop right at the front of the driveway, but only the South route stops there. If it's later at night then the nearest stop is across the street from Huck's, which means you have to cross 4 lanes of traffic with no crosswalk. There's a signal at the intersection, so I never had any problems crossing on a red light, but I feel it's worth mentioning. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

I rented with Westwood Apartments for three years. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Not only was the location of my apartment perfect (e.g. near SIU, gas stations, grocery stores), but David (the apartment manager) was extremely flexible and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great renting experience.
