Update: new management fired everyone. Nothings getting fixed, we have homeless in our hall ways (they took the lock off the doors). They don't give af. Seven missing packages in the past month! I'm moving out after years of loyalty. ZDO NOT LIVE HERE: THIS IS THE NEW FEILDS! I've been here over two years. The current management team: Rachel lol, she, herself is a team. She will message everyone in the community about anything and everything via email and text far before deadlines. She responds quickly to any and all requests or concerns. She listens and will work with you (within what the company allows) Our current maintenance team is responsible and responsive: if you place your needs in the online portal they will get it done and with skill and tenacity. Any problems I have or may have are answered. Many of the negative comments you see are from people who have been given so many chances its ridiculous. I'm talking fron 2700$ owed to fights and disturbances in the parking lot or building when we all had enough in the buildings. New management is making sure hoosers can't rent. This complex has effectively recovered and is a place I may renew for years to come. Absolutely apritiate our team: they are here for us and understand we front the bill. They give so much respect but also expect you to follow community guidelines. Thanks ashburn team you have made a great home for me.

This place is a slum, owned by slum lords. It is not safe. Students should not move into this complex. It is mostly low income families who live here. There are no locks on the building doors. I catch homeless people on my Door Camera wandering the halls at all hours of the night. The complex has had 3 managers in the 2 years that I've been a resident. Obvious drug deals going on throughout the day in my building, loud noise throughout day and night. Roaches / mice. It's gross. I honestly do not know how the city of Carbondale allows a place like this to stay open.

Ok if I could give this place one star I would. So to begin with I moved out March 24th because it was the end of my lease I never received my security deposit. When I called the company changed management through my lease so the company that managed the building at first wasn’t the company that managed the building at the end of my lease. My thought was that I would receive my deposit still because that had nothing to do with me. Unfortunately I was eventually contacted by the company inspector that stated that my security deposit which was $650 was used as a cleaning fee. Mind you when I moved in the apartment I had to clean it up because there was food caked up in the refrigerator (which they eventually had to come take and throw out the whole refrigerator) I had to sweep mop and wipe everything down myself. The first thing that I should have noticed about this crooked company was that but I was in need of somewhere to stay so I just went along. When finally talking to someone about what happened I was told well you should have took pictures. The guy I talked to on the phone stated “I believe you and I know that the managing company is corrupt but there is nothing we can do we fired that person that basically stole your deposit. I would absolutely not recommend renting from this place. The guy on the phone told me yeaaaaa this is happening to a lot of people and most of them are not getting there money back, so basically he’s saying yea the old company left and we stole your deposit and said that we had to pay a cleaner your deposit to clean crumbs off of a counter and screw a screw in the blinds. When I informed him that it only takes a towel and a screw to cost $650 he told me that on paper it only said $550 deposit and the cleaning was $450 which still doesn’t make sense because that means there is still at least $100 minimum unaccounted for. He said he would look into it sarcastically but informed me that I’m not the only one that has had there money stolen from HIS company. THIS IS NOT OKAY AND IM IN THE INTRUM OF SPEAKING TO THE PROPER AUTHORITY TO FIX THIS.
