PETSCREENING IS A PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR ALL APPLICANTS. A welcoming environment is paramount to all of our residents. To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies, we use a third-party screening service and require everyone to complete a pet profile, a “no pet” profile, or request accommodation for an assistance animal. This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability. If you are unable to complete a profile online and need help please contact your housing provider. Please get started by selecting a profile category on our landing page: https://colonieamherst.petscreening.com/ Colonie Apartments is a pet-friendly community, however, you must have written permission of Management in a form of a signed "Pet Agreement." The Community allows up to two pets per apartment home. Owners are required to confirm that their pets are up to date on all vaccinations. Weight and breed restrictions apply for dogs. Dogs may be no larger than nineteen (19) inches at the shoulder and thirty (30) pounds in weight at full growth. The following breeds of dogs, full blood or mixed at any percentage, are not permitted at any time: Pit Bulls, American Bull Dogs, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Huskies, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Dobermans, Chow Chows or any other breed of dog that is known to be dangerous, or that is banned by local law. The pet registration fee is $300.00, with a $25.00 per month pet rent.

First off I just want to say that colony apartments have been a blessing to me and my family. The management is very friendly and helpful when you need something done or fixed in your apartment. I never had to wait more then a day to have a maintenance guy come and fix something it was always right away. Laura the manager in the office is very nice and helpful when anything goes wrong with your apartment! Also the pricing is very affordable and the place comes with great perks. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean and safe environment.
