The new manager Heidi was great and got my issue resolved as soon as she started last week. She was understanding and apologetic about my situation and made sure it was a priority to get done. Very pleased with new management.

The new manager Heidi is absolutely amazing! You can tell she has a passion for what she does and is extremely rooted in making the Walden a better place for everyone to live. With not much staff she is making things work, communicates and is very apologetic despite the issues that she’s dealing with being from long before her! I can’t wait to see what she does with this property!

Walden at Chatham Center is my first apartment living experience. I moved here from central Florida after surviving two strokes that left me partially disabled and no longer able to maintain my house. I’ve lived here four years and not once have I regretted my choice. Big positives for me include the abundance of old growth trees-lots of summertime shade(!), attractive acrhitecture, and-as a newly disabled person, an attentive maintenance staff who in my experience have always been timely and effective. In my four years here I’ve gone through several staff/managemt team changes, there was a recent rough patch, but things have stablelized now under a new team thst appears dedicated to providing superior resident service. kudos to Heide, Shelby, and Patricia for their energy and resident-focused approach. This is a great place to call home. And, it’s only ten minutes by car to beautiful, historic downtown savannah.

I moved in April last year.. last management was absolutely useless.. since then they have replaced the entire office with new staff and they have hired some new maintenance people.. was very upset that's the pool was closed most of the summer..they have replaced lines and cleaned it so hopefully will be open soon.. and have had many of the appliances fixed or replaced w new that the last management wouldn't take care of.. including mold in bathroom..impressed with the improvements they've made in the short amount of time..Trisha in the office was a big help..there doing a much better job..

I recently inquired about leasing an apartment at Walden at Chatham Center Apartments and my experience was exceptional, thanks to Heidi Cook. Despite being short staffed, Heidi provided outstanding service. She was incredibly responsive and took the time to understand my needs answering all my questions, thoroughly and promptly, her professionalism and genuine care made the entire leasing process smooth and stress-free. The community itself is beautiful with top-notch amenities and well maintained grounds considering. I highly recommend Walden at Chatham Center Apartments and I am especially grateful to Heidi Cook for her dedication and exceptional service. Her hard work truly made a difference in my lease inquiring experience.

From the initial tour to the move-in process, Heidi was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and found the perfect apartment that met all my needs. Her attention to detail and prompt responses made everything so much easier. Over the past couple weeks, I have seen improvement at The Walden. The Walden was going downhill, but the care, concern and communication Heidi has shown our community, keeps me hopeful that things will continue to improve. This change is exactly what we needed.
