We lived in Oakwood manor for a little over a year and loved every day of it. Not only is it in the historic Heritage Hill neighborhood, close to great restaurants within walking distance on both Cherry and Wealthy, but also, the management team has been most accommodating to our needs, from being flexible with our move in schedule to addressing issues that arose in our apartment. The property management and maintenance staff is extremely friendly. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, and the two bedroom apartments are stunning, with original hard wood floor, bright natural lighting, large open dining-living room, and original terrazzo in both the bathrooms and first floor hallways. We were also able to participate in the community garden space, which was awesome to get fresh veggies in such a large apartment complex. Compared to pricing in the heritage hill area, Oakwood Manor definitely gives you more bang for your buck, especially since utilities, water, trash, and heating are all included in your rent, and if you are lucky enough to get a corner apartment like we had, you are in for a real treat! All in all, our experience at Oakwood is 5 star, two thumbs up. It's a great apartment complex with lots of history. If you are lucky enough to live there, I know you'll love it!

It's the perfect walking distance to so many things in GR, the restaurant in the basement is really good, and the staff at Oakwood are really great to work with, specifically Spencer and the maintenance staff. They are always improving things it seems, the courtyard redo looks great and the expanded parking is great too. I loved living here, no complaints.
