Michelle is a great instructor! Nice trails and good pastures.

Victory Cheval is such a lovely place with loads of potential. It's quiet, peaceful, and scenic. you may even catch a polo match or two. It's important to note that it is currently self-care, so YOU are responsible for your horse and their overall care and health. Reviews related to the health of an animal is not the responsibility of the facility since it is again, self care. They are not paid to brush a horse's tail. That said, management and staff are so helpful and give frequent daily checks to all of the horses and are very observant. Quarantine is taken seriously, important health documentation is meticulously tracked, and the communication is great. They do provide the round bales and supplement hay at cost as needed or requested, and ensure safe drinking water. On top of that they are fun people! I am very happy to have my horse here, and she settled in so quickly and seems happy too. Oh, and how could I forget the on-site trails!! They are so pretty. VC is seriously a gem!

I moved my horse to victory Cheval in May and the staff and facility have been wonderful! When I came they were very accommodating to my horse’s needs, even when I moved sooner than expected at short notice. It is self care board but staff has always been attentive and there is always hay and water in my horse’s paddock. And I go every day at varying times to feed my horse his supplements and exercise him. The trails are beautiful and well maintained. The other horses seem healthy and happy and well cared for! From the other reviews it seems like there were issues with management in the past but absolutely nothing like that is anything that I’ve personally experienced here. I have nothing but good things to say from my experiences so far!

My family and I have been boarding at this facility for a year and we love it! Although it’s a self care facility I have never met people who care more about our horses. These people are non judgmental, kind, and helpful. They are quick to let us know if they notice something wrong with one of our horses and they are resourceful when it comes to finding solutions. This is our first time owning horses and we have learned so much from the friendly folks there.
Beautiful property, trails on site, large arena and round pen. My horse is well cared for, and management communicates updates and expectations very well. I love boarding here!
I've been to the property a couple of times now as I have a friend, Bailey, who works as a handler there. Knowing her and her family, I can say everything is in very good hands. She practically dedicates her life to the place, and I believe it more than shows. I know firsthand how deeply the horses are cared for, and have seen how pretty the property is on location for a photoshoot. All of the staff work hard, are caring and attentive, and really show their love for the animals they watch over. While there are some negative reviews on here- I've had nothing but wonderful experiences regarding anything with the manor. To anyone in the area, I'd highly recommend stopping by if a fan of anything equestrian!

My wife and our boys (4 & 9) love it here. We have 2 horses. The trails are expensive, the creek is calming. The arena is always nicely kept. Plenty of green spaces to do different activities with horses or just Picnic with fabulous polo field and tree line…sunsets are also stunning. Yes a few policy quirks some people might not find compatible do exist but it’s for the better enjoyment of a wide variety of boarders. Lastly, the grounds manager Amber and the grounds head of operations Caleb are top class, hard working, considerate and love the horses like they are their own.

This review is in regards to the facility, management, and staff at Victory Cheval Estates.
Had it not been for the care of an independent trainer at this stable (who has since left, as have I), my horse's life and health would have been endangered numerous times.
VC is owned and run by management who have no equine experience but rather specialize in apartment management. This is apparent in how little they care for the horses in their care. The house on site is the priority, with pastures and stable falling into disrepair. During my time at VC, horses were left without water, twine from roundbales was left in paddocks (which later was responsible for cutting my horse's legs), and injuries went unreported by staff. Shelters in paddocks were promised to boarders numerous times, with them theoretically getting put up in Dec '21. They were not put in until right after my departure in Jan '22.
During this time, there was a strangles outbreak which was wildly mismanaged, with management choosing to not communicate with boarders until boarders banded together and applied pressure. Horses in quarantine spent days with uncleaned stalls with a teenager in charge of their care (which management communicated as a "horse professional"). Days after the strangles case cleared up, the TX Animal Health Commission made a visit and discovered that there were numerous horses on property who did not have an up to date coggins.
The barn manager abused a horse he had been charged with selling on behalf of a customer. When this horse, who had been tied in her stall, pulled back, she flipped herself and got cast. The barn manager proceeded to kick the cast horse and yell at her. After, he proceeded to ride the mare, who was visibly bleeding at the mouth and pasterns. I reported this to the head manager who is currently in employ at VC, it took her a month to let this staff member go. This staff member also did not keep records for any animals on property.
VC is a beautiful estate, but unfortunately, the beauty is not enough to compensate for the lack of care and attention your horse will receive in the hands of management. I would warn any horse person against boarding there if they value the life and health of their horse.
