I lived here for 2 years & loved it!
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
Their garage is resident exclusive, but the upper parking deck is available for residents AND guests. This feature is a big deal for a luxury apartment complex, considering guest parking at most other locations is extremely limited and inconvenient.
II. LOCATION
You're close to 285, so travel is convenient. Walmart is across the street (literally walkable). Costco, Publix, and Kroger are up the road as alternatives. You could walk to the Marta (so airport travel is convenient) and you could also walk to downtown Chamblee. This location is literally a jackpot ~ you couldn't find better. You're also by all the outstanding food culture on Buford Highway. Not to mention, left of Walmart is the "Chamblee Trail" you could utilize for walks and runs daily.
III. SERVICE
Maintenance is always timely and considerate about entry. The administrative team is informative and helpful via email and in person. The website for payments and maintenance calls is easy to navigate as well. Can I also mention how DOG FRIENDLY this place is?
IV. QUALITY
Very affordable for the luxury boho, anthropology design of the complex. You won't be disappointed in the amenities and esthetic of all the shared spaces. Upkeep is common ~ they're always cleaning and touch up painting. One ISSUE I did encounter each summer, no matter how cleanly and spotless my space was.. was cockroaches. This means it's likely a widespread issue throughout the complex, spreading to neighboring rooms and not sourced from my area. To be transparent, it's a summer-long persistent battle, no matter what floor you're on or no matter how many times you call maintenance to call pest control. The only thing that stopped the cockroach raids was winter and cold weather.
V. CAPACITY
This complex is pretty high demand, not going to lie, so shoot your shot and get an apartment while you can..!

The Oliver is a great place to live. Everything is within walking distance. The amenities are wonderful (pool, pool table, movie theater, etc). We are always having fun events. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You won't be disappointed if you move here.
I toured today with Nicole and she was amazing! Explained everything and answered all my questions as well as told me some things to do in the area. The Oliver is definitely at the top of my list for moving!
I lived in the Oliver for a little over a year (only moved because I’m moving out of state) overall 10/10 experience from living there to the entire move out experience. The people at the leasing office and all the maintenance staff are all super nice, professional. Very dog friendly community. My dog loved the treats at the front and all of the staff. Clean property. Area for pups to potty that’s cleaned throughout the day. It is on a main road but very safe and quiet. You can’t access any of the building without a fob. Great amenities. Highly highly recommend the Oliver.

The Oliver has been my home for some years now and I have truly come to love the community they've been able to build. I recently had a birthday in the community area & wanted to thank Tammy for all of her help. She went above and beyond anything we could have ask for in helping prepare. Tammy has been such a joy to see every day with her warm demeanor and welcoming smile. She's been a great add to the already fantastic staff.
I lived at the Oliver for two years and here's my honest review:
Overall, it was a very good experience. The price was a little high (just shy of $2300 for a 2bed in 2022/23), but the quality of living for the price was excellent. It's definitely comparable to other nice apartments in the area. The location is fantastic and the easy parking for guests is a huge selling point.
There were a few instances of people letting their dogs urinate/defecate in the halls/stairwells, but only a few times. Noise was sometimes an issue and I know it was particularly challenging for units facing the pool area, so I would recommend staying away from that side if you're concerned about that. We also had a few small issues with bugs but nothing serious, mainly silverfish, and pest control was always prompt to come treat our unit when needed.
Management was responsive to concerns and questions and maintenance was also quick to resolve issues. The location is fantastic and very hard to beat- between Walmart, Marta, and restaurants, it's an extremely walkable area.
The amenities are second to none and overall really nice to have- specifically community areas and events. I moved due to budget constraints, but if I had been able to stay for a slightly more affordable price, I absolutely would have. If you're able to afford to live here, I highly recommend it!

We lived at The Oliver for 6 1/2 years. We loved our apartment and the area and only moved due to a job change. Our two bedroom apartment was a spacious open floorplan. In the time that we were there the management, amenities, residents and neighborhood were great. The complex was always well maintained and the maintenance staff was second to none! We loved the covered parking, common areas, resident activities as well as the local restaurants and walkability of downtown Chamblee. No complex is perfect and I could probably get very picky and come up with negative comments but I would live there again if returning to the area.

I went on a tour with my sister who is looking to move to GA and we had Tammy helping us. She was so professional and helpful and really kind and patient with all of the questions. This is such a nice place. I would highly recommend Tammy to anyone who was interested in this location.
