Lived here from 9/2005 until the Thomas Fire burned me out 12/4/2017. I got a job in Ventura and moved here in 2005, thinking I'd buy another house, here in town, in a year or two. I liked that it was month-to-month; no lease to break if I bought a house. I was surprised I stayed as long as I did. The great views and ease of apartment living, where all the problems are quickly solved by the on-site staff (generally while I was at work) was quite seductive. Rent was higher than my budget, but reasonable given the ocean view. I saw living here as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Neighbors were great! If I had to mention issues, it would be that the bldg. was old (1963) and the windows, etc were worn out and leaked. Management offered to replace stuff but I declined because I didn't want my cats bothered with extensive construction. All in all, it was fabulous and I recommend it if it fits your budget and lifestyle. Pic was taken from my kitchen window the morning after the election in 2016
