The Jordanaire apartments have been transformed over the past couple of years to quite an enjoyable place to live. The manager is always on top of any maintenance issues that might come up, and they have fixed a lot of issues that people have stated in some other reviews. I'm actually quite surprised that there are so many negative reviews, because they've done a great job upgrading the units themselves, as well as make the grounds look exceptional. Great place to live.

While babysitting for a friend, I parked in a slot next to a sign that read "PARKING BY PERMIT ONLY AFTER 11 PM" and my car was TOWED! There were empty spots all around me and when I got out there, no one was parked in the spot--IT WAS EMPTY! I was only there for 2 hours. When my husband contacted the manager she said she would not do anything. She said that the management property did not call but that she would not do anything at all. I believe that they must be partners with the towing company to scam people. They also said that they do not use permits anymore...so why would they post that sign? I will be fighting both the management of the apartments as well as the towing agency for towing my car without cause!

Let me tell you, the worst place I've ever lived in on my entire life! Get ready for a whole story. Ok first of let's start off with parking lot. The parking lot is supposed to be one way in one side out the other. Horrible!!!! Half of the time people came in the wrong way knowing they weren't supposed to which almost causes car wrecks daily. Plus get this you have to pay for parking yet there are no designated parking spots! Multiple times I was not able to park in the apartments I had to park at neer by businesses and walk. When there was places to park just wait to walk across the whole apartments to get to your place. Another thing they had told us not to park on the west side of the apartment cause after months of saying they were going to fill pot holes they finally did. They told us it was going to happen a certain day so no one could park over there so even less parking spots which wouldn't have been a problem for a couple days but they had blocked it off for about a week before any work had even happened! Last thing about parking lot. Flooding happened any time it rained, if u lived on the west side get ready to tread through 5 in deep waters. We were told they would get drains but never happened! So people started parking about a foot away from the wall which cause very narrow space to drive through. The next thing on the list is bugs. When we first moved in I had been getting bitten all over my body. You guessed it. Bed bugs!!! I know I didn't bring them plus other residents were dealing with them after the first complaint it took over 2 months for them to do anything. I couldn't even live in my own apartment cause I was covered in hives! They sent someone in and they said that whoever painted the walls painted over bed bug eggs. For some reason they did not go with that guy to fix the problem, so we waited another long while to get a second opinion. Finally they came to the conclusion that we would have to heat treatment the apartment. Ok so bed bugs are finally gone the other thing is roaches! Ever since we moved in. Big and small all they did for that was put sticky patches down for them to get stuck on. No checks after that or anything. Absolutely every window allowed bugs into the apartment and in summer there were millions of roaches grossss!!!! Next thing will be the state of the apartment when we moved in. Every door looks like it had been beaten down and broken into. No new doors they just put glue on them and painted over it. The front door didn't even look properly. Door on the bathroom didn't close fully. Also landlords special which means paint over everything including the electrical box????? There were missing patched of paint and wall on the bottoms of the walls. Base boards were horrible. The swamp cooler was put in very janky and only cooled down the living room. The bedrooms were over 100° in the summer I slept on the couch many times. Watch out opening the door to go into the apartment cause it had knicked many of my friends and family knucks and made them bleed. The carpets in the room were disgusting and had stains all over. When ask to get fixed were told they were clean and they had a professional clean them. Black spots everywhere. Windows sounded like they were open all the time so if you are a light sleeper imagine getting no sleep especially cause it's next to a main road. The cabinets were moldy and broken. We put down sheets and everything before using. Oh get this there is no outlet in the bathroom.... so if you have girls living with u, don't expect for them to be able to get ready in the bathroom. No pantry... we had to use the linin closet as a pantry which is on the other side of the apartment. Dont expect to take a bath... after about 2 inches of water all hot water went out completely. Also the lights are weird special lights that don't have simple light bulbs, and if one goes out they expect you to buy a whole 100$ fixture to fix it. They do not help buy it and don't Even know where to buy it. I have so much more to say but ran out of characters for this review

let's talk about the neighbors... why is everyone so nosy??? I had people coming out and videoing me when I was taking a kid to play on the play ground or use the grill. People staring out their windows video taping me and I have no clue why. Tried to ask why and got a door slammed in my face. Oh and get this if u live on the top floor don't make any noise or everyone is gonna be mad at you. Let's say u trip and fall at 6pm the downstairs neighbors will bang on the ceiling now I can't say thing about all neighbors but I feel like everyone around me hated me for no reason. Getting dirty looks from everyone and feeling hated. Plus i dont mind children at all but when you let your child hit metal poles with sticks for quite litterally 4 hours straigh ,i timed it, it gets very annoying. No community here. Oh but the neighbors that bang on the walls for u tripping surley don't have a problem letting their kids play on drums at 11pm. Next is laundry. No laundry units inside so they have a laundry area costs about 5$ a load and always eats your money....alwaysssss. they finally decided to get new washers and dryers so for about a month they were unavailable and u have to go to a laundry Matt or something else. Idk why it took a month. 1400$ a month for trash!!!!! Absolutely not worth it. Plus they said if we wanted to renew it, it would be raised about 100$ !!! On many occasions I had random men probably on drugs at night standing outside looking straight into my window. One time i had a guy slowly move his head to stare at me and then start sprinting twords my door. Not pleasant at all especially for a young women. Another time I had a guy playing creepy music in a very creepy clown mask at 10 at night stop and stair and watch me as I went into my apartment. First night I moved in I had a lady rolling on the ground screaming at people walking by. Many more instances like this. Last to talk about is the management. I think they changed it like 3 times while I was here. You could never get ahold of the management if there were issues by email or number. I have many instances where they wouldn't answer an important messages they were never in the office. I had it where when switching management they had lost documents of mine and claimed I didn't hand them in, until I proved them wrong and got no apology or anything. They were threatening to charge me for the things about the paperwork also. So no communication when switching management. One time they had said they were doing a yearly inspection and we stay up all day waiting for them to come and when we asked when they were coming after waiting hours, they had claimed they had already come in and looked. They hadn't, we were very confused. I left the place way better then I had moved in. They didn't deserve it but I felt like being a bigger person. Also we were supposed to move into a certain unit and they chanced it last second and when asked if we could see it they said it was exactly the same. But I see why they didn't want us to see it before we moved in. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
