We lived here for 4 years and in our 15+ years of apartment living never had a better experience. Both of the managers we worked with were genuinely friendly in addition to being highly responsive and competent. While the maintenance staff was occasionally frustrating they were generally able to get serious problems fixed, or partly fixed, in about 3 days; luckily, the building was in such good repair that we rarely needed to request maintenance. The neighbors were wonderful without exception, and the soundproofing between units was the best we've ever heard.

I have lived at Seminole for a year and have loved it. The location is ideal. McKee Farms park is nearby and is a fantastic place to go for evening walks or runs. There is a Copps just up the road, and if that doesn't float your boat, bam- get on PD and high tail it down to Hyvee or Target. Need to get downtown? No worries, it's a hop, skip and jump away - taking about 10-15 in non rush hour traffic. Jill, the property manager is more than excellent when it comes to handling any questions or concerns, and is readily available when needed. On top of all this the apartment tries to put on some events throughout the year, like Madison Mallards games, or charity events like food drives (for humans and pets). All in all I have to say I am glad we found Seminole Woods when we did as it provided us with excellent location, fantastic floor plan (we had a one bedroom + loft area) with the right amount of space for two people. The only thing I would suggest is they install some sort of community area for recreation or grilling; having said that, McKee Farms park is so nearby that I can almost live without that request. For the sake of bipartisanship I am obligated to point out an improvement or two. The only sour comment I can leave has nothing to do with the apartment itself, but I have to say, some of the Tenants are terrible at parking - pay the little extra and grab a spot down below in the garage...you wont regret it, especially come winter time. Thanks for housing my arse for a year Seminole Woods- it's been real!
