My experience so far has been great overall. The apartment when we came in was super clean, neighbors are super friendly. If we have a problem, maintenance is also super fast, and is super friendly. The staff is also very friendly. Overall love living in the Cedar apartments.

Lived here for two years while my fiance attended grad school at BSU. Small apartment for two people but they're one bedroom apartments so we knew what we were getting in to. Close walk to campus and quiet. Internet is included in the rent. We never paid over $20 for electric a month. Any concerns we had were addressed promptly by Dan, the property manager. He's a younger guy and great at getting back to you. Even let us shovel during the winter to make some extra cash. Laundry room on site that could use some new machines, but we never had issues. Great location and close to everything. Breakfast place next door (Eva's Pancake House) is incredible. Would live here again if in the Muncie area.

Unlike my mother, I rather liked this apartment compared to other properties I've lived in in Muncie. Wifi was good (provided you have your own router), quiet, safe neighborhood (I took lots of walks at night, never had to fear for my safety). Property managers treated me like a person, not just a number; promptly responded to maintenance requests and let me know when they were unable to come to address something. Here's the thing that made me love these apartments so much: IT'S QUIET. Unlike everywhere else I've stayed in Muncie, there isn't a raging party going on until four in the morning that takes up the whole parking lot. I don't feel the building shake every time someone walks around upstairs. I can't constantly hear my neighbors conversations. I could sleep when I needed to, which is very different from everywhere else I've lived. It's also more than enough space for just little ol' me, with a very spacious bedroom - two people could easily and happily live here with more than enough room. My mom's review said that "most of the laundry didn't work," but that's actually not true - only one washer really needs replaced. The boards do bend from time to time, but it wasn't anything too serious, and when I told maintenance a step had fallen off they immediately fixed it. There aren't "exposed nails in the wood" everywhere or anything like that. It's a little overpriced for just one person, but it's also the perfect amount of space for someone looking to live alone, and for two years it was an excellent home to me. I'm going to miss it terribly. I think my mom really just doesn't understand how hard it is these days to find a one bedroom apartment that isn't a studio for a decent price, let alone how hard it is to find a quiet apartment building with internet included that's only a fifteen minute walk from campus, and next to a bus stop. This is the third property I've lived in in Muncie, and by far it's been the best one. Not perfect - the windows did tend to get stuck when you opened them, and no outlets in the bathroom, and it is an older building that could use some work - but I absolutely loved it.
