There’s a large desk, ergonomic chair and office storage. Or take a break on your own private balcony with café table and chairs. Drive here? There’s ample parking, and it’s free, on-street, directly next to and in front of the flat. We don’t currently offer off-street parking. Looking to travel outside of downtown? We’re a close commute to I-440, which connects to the rest of the city and its surrounding areas, including Durham and Chapel Hill. So what’s it like staying in downtown Raleigh? Our neighborhood and its community is diverse and tight-knit. It’s a mishmash of all kinds of wonderful people — a mix of races and ethnicities, LGBTQ, young professionals, families with kids, and elderly people who's kin settled here in the early 1900’s. Our own family has lived in this neighborhood for 15 years, and we love it! We raise our young children here, and have lots of different kinds of friends. While certainly urban in nature, the neighborhood is considered safe. If you're looking for a vibrant community with a diverse mix of people, housing and points of interest within a 10/15-min walk, this is a great neighborhood for you. If you're someone who's intimidated by an urban feel with the occasional gritty street corner or wayward drifter, trying another part of Raleigh might be best. |
