I'm a soon-to-be resident and so far my experience has been awesome. The management team is very responsive and accommodating, something I can't say for all the housing options I've looked at this year.

University West is great place to live if you are looking for off campus housing at JHU! It is a newly renovated apartment complex that has central air conditioning, all new appliances, and friendly staff that are available to help whenever you need it! A lot of units also have in unit W/D, and even if you don't have an in unit, the laundry units are always available in the basement of the complex. The location is very safe and close to campus. Overall a great place to live!
