Your lease agreement clearly states if you have been given permission to have a pet within the building. If your lease agreement does not reflect that you have permission for a pet (type of pet, amount of pet fee and initials of both the Landlord and Tenant) you DO NOT have permission to have a pet on the premises. This applies to all pets, whether "visiting" or owned by you. If you are found to have an unauthorized pet in the building the terms of your lease regarding pets will be enforced without exception. If during your residency you wish to obtain a pet, you must contact Management and request authorization. If authorization is granted, you will be required to sign a lease amendment and pay a monthly pet fee PRIOR to bringing the pet into the building. Motor Wheel Lofts reserves the right to deny authorization for any pet for any reason, including but not limited to size, temperament, breed and over all building capacity. Pet Owners: If you have been given authorization to keep a pet in Premises (through your lease agreement or amendment) you are required to be a responsible and courteous pet owner. It is also important to note that the authorization for your pet is not transferable to another animal. Your authorization applies only to the pre-approved animal. Pre-approved dogs must have a bark-collar to control barking when left alone. All dogs must be on a leash at all times when in the common areas of the building. You are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste. Pet waste stations are located at the North Service drive and under the garage entrance for your use. Animals are not permitted to be left unattended on balconies and are not permitted in the courtyard located on the east side of the building. Failure to pick up pet waste or keep animals leashed will be met with a $50.00 fine and/or revocation of pet.

Motor Wheel Lofts is a great building. The amenities and location are both top notch, and the service and staff are all prompt and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about MWL. I needed a furnished place to move into last minute for a shorter lease term and they went out of their way to accommodate me. The unit itself is also perfect, all I needed to bring was a suitcase the unit had everything else from bedding to pots and pans. If you’re looking for a new apartment in Lansing you can’t do better than MWL.
