About 92 Grove Avenue
Hey There 👋 I am looking for two others to join me at this great semi-detached house in Old Ottawa South. The house has a ton of character and has been recently upgraded with new windows, central AC and a renovated bathroom 🏠 The Home: - Central AC and heating - Gorgeous & large tree-covered back deck (will be outfitting with a BBQ and patio set) - Very spacious kitchen with dishwasher - Washer and Dryer in the basement - Lots of storage throughout and even more room in the basement -Large mudroom off the back of the house - Hardwood flooring - Potentially parking available - Easy access to both the 6 and 7 bus line - Will be largely unfurnished to start, but I will be quickly furnishing it. If you have anything you would like to contribute - that would be awesome! 🛏️ The Rooms: There are two unfurnished rooms available, I am waiting for the dimensions from the current tenants. - The first one is a bit bigger, with a closet. I believe a queen bed and desk would fit well. $1,050 (including all utilities & internet) - The second one is on the smaller side, also with a closet. $900 (including all utilities & internet) 🏘️ The Neighbourhood: It is on a nice, quiet street (Grove Ave.) in Ottawa South but only a 5 min. walk to Carleton, The Rideau River and Bank street and all it has to offer (numerous great cafes, pubs & restaurants, Mayfair Theater, bookstore, local grocer, etc.) 🙋♂️About Me: I love to travel, meet new people, hike, cycle, explore the city and most importantly I love food. I enjoy cooking with others and exploring the great restaurants around Ottawa. I’m a very relaxed, clean and quiet flatmate. Pretty low-key guy who likes to get out into nature as much as possible. I have done several houseshares in the past and enjoy cooking meals together and doing the odd hangout. I am 34 and work full-time as a software developer. I usually work from home 3-4 days/week. 🗒️ Other Notes: - Open to different lengths of terms between 8 and 12 months - I will also be moving in September 1st, as there are tenants in the house until the end of August. - No smoking anywhere on the property, as specified in the lease - I am open to pets, but I would like to meet the pet beforehand 😊 If this sounds like a good fit, send me a bit about yourself.
