Hellloo! :) Tis that time again, my dear roommate is moving in with her boyfriend and closer to work. I've lived in this super cute duplex in inner SE for over 2 years. I love it, the neighborhood is my favorite in Portland, and I've lived in or around it for over 10 years. The place is blocks from Laurelhurst park, right off Belmont, very close to tons of awesome bars / restaurants / theaters / stores / bus lines / ect. Super quiet, no street noise, which I love! The house- The house is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath unit, with a large deck with a vine canopy, fireplace, huge bathtub, hard wood floors, washer/dryer, very easy free street parking right in front of the house, filled with plants and cozy furniture. The place also has a great bamboo garden in the back, with a fire pit and raised garden beds. I have it furnished, and open to some new things if they go with the flow, but ideally for someone not with a TON of stuff, although Im always open for cool stuff for the house if it flows well. There is also a HUGE basement for storage for all your stuff. We may have the 3rd bedroom be a guest room. Month to month and cheap to move in! Me- I'm a 30 year old lady who works in the non-profit world as well as as a florist at a wine bar in SW a couple days a week. I love to travel, lived in Berlin recently for a while, I'm a big outdoors person and try to get out as much as possible. Avid snowboarder, music enthusiast (although I keep it to my contained space when others are home), I love reading, dancing, a great glass of wine, a good book, ect. I always do my dishes after making them, and think its important to keep common spaces clean and be respectful of others in the house. I eat healthily, am not vegetarian, but would prefer to live with someone who isn't an avid junk food connoisseur. I do enjoy going out with friends and having a glass of wine at home, but am def not looking to live with a huge party animal. 420 friendly as long as it's within reason. I have a drag of a cig here and there, but would prefer to not live with a chain smoker. You - Preferably female, open to a guy, but they'd have to be pretty radical, clean and not super masculine. Around my age range, 26-34ish. I'd love to find someone fun, passionate, easy-going, respectful (that's big) of others. Bills and rent should never be a problem, I hate having to pull teeth to get roommates to pay bills, they are affordable in the house. No couch potatoes who never leave the house, raging alcoholics, republicans, creeps, passive aggressive people, thieves, ect. (If you are seriously interested, please respond with a disclaimer on yourself! Tell me who you are and what you love/do, Facebook links are also helpful if you're comfortable with that. I won't be responding to 2 sentences with someone saying they are interested and that's all.) I would love to find someone I share interests with, who can have a good time and not be super up tight, but also has their act together and their own lives. I love to be pals with whomever I live with so we can enjoy a glass of wine or occasional weekend brunch, but also think it's important for us to have healthy separate lives. Overall just looking for positive vibes! This is a great place and my fingers are crossed I can find someone awesome! :) Available March 1st or a bit before.
