Hello! We are two female college graduates living in the Danforth area of East York and looking for a 3rd female roommate. Our apartment is 7 Park Vista, right next to Taylor Creek Park on Dawes Rd., with our balcony overlooking the river and forest. It's a 7th floor apartment with two bedrooms, 1 shared kitchen, 1 shared bathroom, a small, furnished dining room, and fully furnished living room. The vacant bedroom is a 2-bed shared space with extra large closet split between 2 roommates. There is one roommate in the shared space already. We have 2 additional storage closets in the hallway, plus storage cupboards and shelves around the apartment. There are pay-by-card laundry facilities on the second floor and a bus stop just outside the building that connects directly to Main Street subway station and travels along the Danforth. There are 3 grocery stores and 2 plazas within walking distance as well as a second park down the road. Victoria Park station is also a 10 minute walk from the apartment, and the Main Street Go station is a 20 minute walk. Rent is $517.17 per person, with Hydro being $35-$50 per month depending on use and Internet always $56.50. Hydro and Internet prices are split between all three residents, so total bill costs would be around $35 or less per person each month. We are both Christian and would love to have another person of faith living with us, but we are very open to people of different faiths, beliefs and backgrounds and believe in mutual respect of differences within the apartment and kindness towards all, so all are welcome! We are fairly quiet girls who spend most of our time working at our desks (as we're both new collage graduates of the animation and graphic novel diploma programs of Max the Mutt School of Animation, Art and Design, so we're constantly drawing all day) but we love comics, manga, anime, cartoons (especially nostalgic stuff from the 80s to early 2000s), movies, Disney anything, and video games. We love to have fun, hang out, have movie nights, and get to know new people. We also love sharing our interests so anyone rooming with us would have full access to our book, comic, video game and movie collections at any time. We have one cat living in the house named Nyla who is a bit skittish and likes to keep to herself, but once she warms up to you she's very sweet and affectionate. We are very open to other pets living with us as long as they are well behaved and friendly.
