There are tot lots at each end of the block, and highly rated Bethke Elementary School is nearby. Older students attend Timnath Middle-High School. (Some websites incorrectly list other schools. Also, the Poudre School District has a school choice program allowing some students to attend schools outside their attendance areas.) You'll be less than four miles from Walmart and Costco near the eastern edge of Fort Collins at I-25 and Harmony Road, and it's not much farther to the shopping and tech jobs in southeast Fort Collins. More shopping, including King Soopers and Safeway, is in Windsor, just to the south. You'll rent from an experienced private landlord, not a giant real estate company with tricky fees. Ideally, your initial lease would be for six months. Eighteen months also is possible. If you want to rent while you're looking for a house to buy or if you have a temporary assignment that requires a flexible-term lease, ask about the options for that.
