The Seymour River runs along the bottom of the lawn. From the patio, what you hear is moving water that instantly lowers your after-work blood pressure. Not traffic, not neighbours. Salmon run through this stretch in the fall. It feels like a cottage, but it’s 15 minutes from a downtown Vancouver office (off peak). The Highway 1 on-ramp is a two-minute drive. Superstore is a walk, and most of that walk is crossing their parking lot. Capilano University is 10 minutes on foot. The trailhead at Seymour River Heritage Park and the bike path to the Seymour Demonstration Forest are at the end of the block. We have a resident heron, as well as an occasional very chill deer. This is a furnished, self-contained, garden-level suite in a private home, set up specifically for people relocating for work, on contract, or between properties.
