Hi, we are a happy couple living in a very nice part of North East Colorado Springs with two dogs and we're looking for a housemate in our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a garage and backyard. We are really easy to get along with and are looking for someone to share our whole house. ABOUT THE PLACE There is plenty of parking in front and we live in a quiet neighborhood. We face south, so no shoveling the driveway, and both front and back yards are rockscape, so very little maintenance and no watering required. We don't pay for cable to keep utilities low and we're very energy efficient i.e. LED bulbs throughout the house and Energy Star mini fridge. ABOUT US We are 26 and 29, just moved here from SoCal about a year ago and we love all things camping, hiking, offroading and animals. We're not sober, but we can get along with sober roommates because we don't like a smelly house. We don't party much at all, but we enjoy hanging out with people. We're pretty quiet and very mindful of our awesome neighbors. If you're really clean, we probably aren't the best roommates for you, but we're not dirty and we clean intermittently. We're a little sad about the political situation. LGBTQIA friendly You would have access to: - Your own room w/ private closet and half of 2 hall closets Room is 10'7"(127 inches) x 9'3" (111 inches) + closet - Your own bathroom w/ shower, toilet and sink - Washer and Dryer - Entire kitchen (dishes, silverware, pots, pans) w/ dishwasher and dining place - Half of the large fridge and freezer, half of the cabinets, plus small beer fridge and meat freezer in garage - Our living room setup with Apple TV, surround sound and sectional couch - Entire garage (used for storage and projects) - Entire backyard, w/ barbecue and small fire pit - Front yard w/ porch and rocking chair WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Male or Female - 25ish - 30ish - Someone who can sign into a year lease - Move in between October and November (or asap) - Can pay a security deposit - Someone with a decent job, fun attitude, and loves dogs is probably best - LGBTQIA and 420 friendly - Hopefully we can be friends We only can't have another dog or cat because of regulations on the lease. If you have a service animal, we'll probably be able to make it work. We're mostly looking for single people since it's not a huge space. Single person - 1/3 rent ($450/mo*) + 1/3 Utilities/mo + Security Deposit** Couple - 2/3 rent ($900/mo*) + 1/2 Utilities/mo + Security Deposit** *Whole house rent is $1350 and may go up slightly at renewal ** Security Deposit is 1 month's rent Call, text or send an email about yourself soon so that we can schedule a time to meet. We will only be looking for roommates for a quick period of time. We'd like to talk to as many people as possible. Thanks
